Blues were winning 1-0 thanks to an early penalty from Liam Dickinson.

And they would have been playing against 10 men in the second half after Shots centre-back Darren Jones was sent off for swinging an arm towards Dickinson.

Blues boss Paul Sturrock said after the game: "The players are all gutted about it. We just have to take it on the chin because we can't do anything else about it."

Scorer Liam Dickinson said: 'It's a bit of a farce. They will be more than pleased with it but it's down to a technical fault.'

And Crawley lost 2-1!

You've got to try and be philosophical about a day like this!
