It makes a change from a striking crisis! Blues boss Paul Sturrock will have to rally the troops four days before the long trip to Accrington Stanley after 125 minutes of football including the penalties, and we lost, including another central defender! It's the O's who take the game 4-3 on penalties after extra-time!  Lee Butcher: I really don't like this bloke!   Just when you thought losing to Orient was a thing of the past, this happens!   Borient down to 10 men on the hour, 24 goal attempts to 9(!), a series of terrific saves by O's keeper Lee Butcher, penalties; we were out of the Carling Cup at the first attempt!   And we may have lost two central defendersPhillips subbed after something went pop in his groin. Barker also out for between 2 and 3 weeks with torn groin.   Dickinson -"we're gutted because we battered them and played them off the park. I struck penalty well but height of it was wrong."   Sturrock: "We weren't clinical enough and it showed we are missing our main strikers. We're disappointed to lose but there were positives."
