Shrimpers complete Sawyer switch
The 19-year-old, who has featured in the Shrimpers' pre-season programme while the loose ends of the deal were tied up, will stay at Roots Hall until January 10, 2010.
Chelsea have given permission for Sawyer to play in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy, Carling Cup and FA Cup.
