Shrimpers boss pleased with point

The Shrimpers came closest to scoring when Lee Barnard's penalty was saved by Shane Higgs midway through the second half. "It was another competitive game but we matched them in every department and I'm just disappointed that we did not go on and beat them," said Tilson. "It was a fantastic save and the only thing in the keeper's favour was the height. Lee has put a lot of power on it and it was a great save. "I always fancied us to score however but in the end we did not, although I'm not too disappointed with a point. "We have kept two clean sheets in a row against two good teams [following Southend's 3-0 win over Orient last Friday] and we have worked hard again."
