Shrews assured by Sturrock that Shrimpers will give their all at Wycombe Wanderers

It's judgement day for Shrewsbury Town and the Chairboys in the Leagie One promotion race and Southend United will help spoil the party for one of them! Sturrock: 'We'll be giving it a real go & I certainly won't be tinkering with the team'Now we at S24 Towers are not one's to miss out on a party, especially someone else's!And let's face there's no love from the Shrimpers faithful for Graham Turner and his Shrewsbury side, Matt Harrold and all, but they need Southend to take something from their weekend clash with Wycombe at Adams Park at the weekend to gain automatic promotion from League One, as long as they do better at home to Oxford that is, but handing out three points to you're opponents is just not our style.Anyway, a last day away win, wherever you are, always adds to to the overall merriment in the Dream Stand, so I'm afraid the Chairboys will have to do it the hard way and put up with a serious clash and every effort we can do to spoil their party so we can enjoy ours even more! Who knows the ShrewsSturrock told www.echo-news.co.uk: "Just like Burton, who secured league survival last weekend, Wycombe also have plenty to play for. They currently sit third, the final automatic promotion position, but are just a point above fourth placed Shrewsbury Town. It's a must win situation for them and they will be desperate to beat us. We will be giving it a real go and I certainly won't be tinkering with the team too much or be trying things with next season in mind because I don't think that would be fair on the other sides going for promotion. It will be a good game to be part of and one we're looking forward to."As we all are Luggs, as we all are.It just didn't gel in time!:www.southendunited-mad.co.uk/news/tmnw/sturrock_on_season_end_for_shrimpers_disappointed_that_the_team_we_put_together_didnt_gel_sooner_675030/index.shtml
