Second string leave it late

Southend`s reserves struck twice in the last two minutes to claim a 3-3 draw with Ipswich at Roots Hall on Tuesday afternoon. Town took the lead with just three minutes on the clock before Harry Crawford levelled for the Shrimpers with a composed finish just before the half-hour mark. The visitors however established a two-goal lead late in the second half to seemingly put the game beyond Southend. Yet reserve-team boss Graham Coughlan threw on Duane Ofori-Achaempong and he scored a powerful header with almost his first contribution in the 89th minute, leaving impressive youngster Crawford to grab his second of the game 60 seconds later to level matters.
