Sawyer axed from Shrimpers squad
The on-loan Chelsea youngster was left at home after he did not turn up for the scheduled briefing at the club's training ground on Thursday.
A club statement read: "Lee was sent home from training on Thursday for another breach of club discipline.
"His failure to attend Thursday's pre-match team meeting at the training ground, where the team were to prepare for the weekend's opposition, has angered both his team-mates and the managerial staff."
