The former Charlton full-back has been struggling with an Achilles problem, but scored for the reserves in a 2-2 draw with Northampton on Tuesday and has set his sights on regaining his place in Steve Tilson's side. He told the club's official website: "It's been a frustrating time for me. I came back feeling really fit but then picked up the injury - probably doing too much too soon. "I had to rest for a couple of weeks but I'm feeling fine again now and felt good in the reserves. "I know I have to be patient in waiting for an opportunity in the first team, but I need to be ready for one when it does come my way." Trialist Prince Rajcomar was due to play for the Shrimpers' second string against the Cobblers, but the Dutch striker missed his flight to the UK after arriving at the wrong airport in Germany.
