Blues winger and former Crystal Palace trainee Ryan Hall has been left on the bench in recent first team games but a decent outing in the reserves win over Colchester United might see a swift return to the side against Bury. Hall: 'I've always scored goals for the teams I've played for' Hall told www.echo-news.co.uk: "I thought I did OK on Tuesday and so did the reserve team manager, so hopefully I've caught the eye of the gaffer and will play at Bury. It's been frustrating not playing because I thought I did OK in the last game I started at Barnet, but I know I need to start scoring goals." Hall has turned out for the Shrimpers 14 times since joining from Bromley and has yet to find the net for his new side.Hall continued: "I just can't believe I haven't scored for Southend yet. There has been a real lack of goals from me and it's been tough because I've always scored goals for the teams I've played for. I hit the post at Barnet so I'm getting closer and hopefully I can score on Saturday if I play and then go on to get a few more."
