Robinson won't return to Southend
Robinson spent a spell on loan from Watford last season and scored seven goals in 20 appearances.
Shrimpers manager Steve Tilson told the club's official website: "Obviously first and foremost it's disappointing that we don't have Theo back with us next season.
"He did well during the loan he had with us and it would have been great to have him back, but with him being available for £275,000, that blew us out of the water really.
"Signing a striker isn't really a priority; it's bringing in a new left-back and a centre-back."
