Revell relishing Shrimpers return
The 26-year-old suffered the injury against Leyton Orient in January but completed his recovery by starting in Tuesday's Carling Cup defeat.
"It was nice to get back into the team and I thought I did well," he told Southend's official website. "It had been a bit frustrating to be on the bench so it was nice to get a full game.
"It was my first proper start since being back and that meant a lot to me. I was tiring a bit towards the end but that's to be expected."
