Luke Prosser has been added to the growing list of injury problems at Southend ahead of their home game against Hereford. The 22-year-old defender reported for training on Monday morning with a calf problem and after consultation with the club's doctor it was revealed the former Port Vale man will be out for three weeks. Left-back Peter Gilbert remains sidelined with the ankle injury that kept him out of the 1-0 midweek defeat against Crewe and is facing at least two more weeks on the sidelines. Midfielder Craig Easton, who also missed the defeat against the Railwaymen, will be sidelined for three weeks with a calf problem so Anthony Grant is set to retain his place. Defender Bilel Mohsni is also ruled out with ankle ligament damage as the Shrimpers look to end a run of five games without a win.
