No news on N'Diaye yet, but Dougie's back!

Crystal Palace midfielder remains unsigned. The white smoke wasn't seen from Roots Hall towers Wednesday so the hoped for signing of Crystal Palace midfielder Alassane N'Diaye has failed to materialise, for now. Alassane N'Diaye: On the move to Roots Hall? We're still waiting!   Back at the beginning of the week we were told that it was 48 hours from Roots Hall for Crystal Palace midfielder Alassane N'Diaye if personal terms on a season-long loan could be agreed.   What we weren't told was that Eagles boss and former Shrimeprs striker Dougie Freedman was lapping up the rays and would probably want to have some say on where members of his squad were going to end up.   Then again, in these days of smart phones lying by the pool Dougie was more than likely aware of what was going on, and having allowed the 6ft 5inc 21-year-old to go on loan to Swindon towards the end of last season is unlikely to be against a further continuation of N'Diaye's footballing education at a lower level.   A tweet from Echo journalist Chris Phillips gave the following update from Roots Hall. Phillips wrote: 'Palace and Blues still discussing length of N'Diaye loan deal but Palace boss Dougie Freedman is now back from holiday' Not much to go on, but it still looks likely the deal will go through, we're give up predicting when, (oh why not, hopefully today), and possibily make the exit of captain Craig Easton just a touch more likely.
