The Bulls of Hereford United. Southend United forward Blair Sturrock is continuing his recovery from a painful ankle injury but there is still no word on the date of an eventual return to the squad. Blair Sturrock: No return to playing for Luggy's boy yet The ink has only dried on the extended one-year contract for the son of Blues boss Paul Sturrock Blair but he's still to be seen at any of the Shrimeprs pre-season friendlies. However, he will step up his rehabilitation work on the ankle injury that has kept him out and hopefully avoid any sort of operation on the problem. A return to 'single line running' is the best it gets for now but there is no date for a return to actual playing and, along with the knee injury to last season's top scorer Barry Corr, would keep up the pressure on Dad to bring in at least one other central striker before the August 6th League two kick-off date at home to Hereford.
