No full refund for Aldershot abandonment!

Aldershot Town: Ho, ho, ho, and a Happy Christmas to all at Aldershot Town who have decided that after the floodlight farce of Boxing Day the best they will offer is 505 off the rearranged game, as long as you've got your ticket stub that is!

They might have raised from the ashes and the Conference Aldershot Town still have a small club attitude when it comes to dealing with financial matters.

Unlike Cheltenham Town last season, who accepted responsibilty for their fuse box exploding by allowing the travelling faithful in for free, the Hampshire club, who said they knew something was wrong with the floodlights before the game, will be only giving a partial refund when the Boxing Day League two clash, which was called off at half-time with the Shrimpers one-up and the opposition down to ten men, is finally replayed in the new year.

As long as you have kept your ticket from the original game you will get in to the EEB Stadium at a date still to be arranged at 50% of the new ticket cost.

As the game was an away fixture it is the hosts clubs ticketing policy that governs any refunds or discounts.

The club has since tweeted that Southend United's policy is the same as Aldershot's, which I'm sure it is, as probably was Cheltenham's.

Each set of circumstances should be looked at individually, and here Aldershot Town FC have made a poor decision.
