No fresh worries for Shrimpers

Boss Paul Sturrock has no new injury or suspension worries for Southend's clash with Crewe. On-loan striker Waide Fairhurst, who made his debut in last week's 2-1 defeat to Chesterfield, will continue in attack. Strikers Barry Corr and Blair Sturrock will miss their third consecutive game with glute and back problems respectively. Centre-back Bilel Mohsni will also be unavailable as he serves the second game of a three-match suspension, meaning Graham Coughlan may again deputise after impressing against the Spireites. Meanwhile, Michael Timlin is set to play the final match of his loan spell from Swindon, although he recently admitted he is keen on an extended stay with the Shrimpers.
