No conspiracy theory for Macca not starting against Tranmere Rovers

The subject of some fevered message board activity after a rant on his Facebook page, Blues boss Steve Tilson had a simple reason why Macca didn't start against Tranmere. BLUES boss Steve Tilson felt Franck Moussa and Jean-Francois Christophe deserved to keep their place in the side for yesterday's clash with Tranmere Rovers after both performing well at Colchester United last Monday. Alan McCormack was named among the substitutes on his return from a two match suspension. But Tilson felt it would not have been right to drop either of his current central midfielders. Tilly told www.echo-news.co.uk: "I thought Franck and Jeff (Christophe) were both excellent against Colchester. And that's why they stayed in the team for this game."
