M'voto missing again for Shrimpers
The on-loan Sunderland man has missed the last two matches with a hip injury and has returned to the Stadium of Light for treatment on the problem.
M'voto is likely to return to Southend for more treatment next week once the bruising has gone down.
However, Tilson is boosted by the return of winger Damian Scanell from an ankle injury.
Scannell missed the defeats to Oldham and Brentford but is pushing for a return to the starting line-up.
Assistant manager Paul Brush has hinted that Tilson may make changes to the side as he looks to get the Shrimpers back to winning ways.
