Moussa strike is not enough
Byrom opened the scoring in the 12th minute, slamming the ball home from close range, before Murphy doubled the advantage five minutes later, although United goalkeeper Steve Mildenhall should have done better with the Irish midfielder's 25-yard effort.
The League One side asserted themselves well after the break and Frank Moussa shot tidily across Borough goalkeeper Chris Day to reduce the arrears midway through the second half.
