Morris back on song

Southend manager Paul Sturrock heaped praise on his goalkeeper Glenn Morris after the goalless draw with Gillingham. Morris produced a fine save to stop an acrobatic effort from Cody McDonald while Adebayo Akinfenwa and Chris Palmer also went close for the Gills. The keeper was back on form after an error against Hereford at the weekend. "In the second half, Glenn Morris atoned for the mistake he made on Saturday. He made some great saves," said Sturrock. "That's what being a goalkeeper is all about, he's done very well."
