Joyce agrees new Shrimpers deal
The Shrimpers have begun pre-season training and boss Steve Tilson is delighted to have Joyce on board again for the campaign ahead.
"Joycey will be with us and will be signing up again," Tilson told the Southend Echo.
"He improved last season and did well when he was called upon so it's good news he's agreed to stay."
Tilson has yet to make any new signings this summer but he will assess Dutch trialist left-back Guus De Vries later this week.
