Johnstone's Paint Trophy Regional Quarter-Final Details Confirmed: Oxford United v Southend United
Date and ticket prices all agreed for the next stage of the JPT which takes Southend United to League Two rivals Oxford United for a place in the regional semi-finals. Shrimpers travel to U's in the next stage of the JPT Johnstone's Paint Trophy Southern Section Quarter-Final: Southend United v Oxford United - Tuesday, November 8th; kick-off 19.45 It's off to the Kassam Stadium as the chance of a Wembley final gets ever closer. Not an easy tie for the Shrimpers, the U's are good at home, but a lot depending on what sides turn out on the night of course, yet we're expecting Luggy to pick a serious starting eleven. Tickets from Wednesday, October 19th are on sale for season card holders, and on general sale from Monday, October 24th. Southend have an intial allocation of 500 tickets which is more than enough I would have thought, and you will be able to get in on the day though they do go up a quid or two, even so, don't expect a rush. The home side have reduced prices for the game and have been set as follows: Advance Adults - £12, Student - £8, Over 65 - £6, Under 16 - £4, Under 7's - Free. On the day: Adults - £14, Student - £10, Over 65 - £7, Under 16 - £5, Under 7's Free. Johnstone's Paint Trophy Regional Quarter-Final Draw Southern Area: Oxford United v Southend United; Swindon Town v AFC Wimbledon; Cheltenham Town v Barnet; Brentford v AFC Bournemouth. Northern Area: Rochdale v Preston North End; Chesterfield v Accrington Stanley or Tranmere Rovers; Sheffield United v Bradford City; Oldham Athletic v Crewe Athletic.
