Jemal Johnson who signed for the Shrimpers in the summer, was arrested in connection with an assault on a man outside the nightclub Faces, in Cranbrook Road, Gants Hill, Ilford.
Johnson was arrested yesterday by officers of London’s Met Police and has now been released on bail.
