Back-up keeper Kelvin Jack will not be retained for next season but for the Shrimpers faithful it's what happens to three other out of contract players that will hold their attention. KELVIN Jack has become the first player to leave Southend United this summer. The goalkeeper joined Blues on a non-contract basis towards the end of the season as cover for first choice shot-stopper Steve Mildenhall. But he suffered a hamstring injury during his short stay and has now been released. Blues boss Steve Tilson will soon hold talks with Franck Moussa, Damian Scannell and Osei Sankofa, who are also out of contract.
