Before Crawley Town, Northampton Town & Port Vale. Southend United striker Liam Dickinson limped off in the 3-2 win at Port Vale where he scored the second goal and it looks as if he will need an operation, but not just yet! Liam Dickinson; limped off during the win at Vale Park where he grabbed the second  Even injured striker Barry Corr was impressed tweeting: 'Great header from @TheMarkPhillips, reminded me of me, good finish from dicko and lenos shot killed 3 snails on the way in, he's lethal!!'  We're forgive the final bit, but it certainly was a decent strike, catch the highlights when you can, it must have felt like promotion season with Stockport all over again, until he gave the penalty away, but we're move on! Laim took a knock soon after scoring but kept going until the 76th minute when he left the field of play for the living volcano that is Bilel Mohsni to take his place. And it seems we have reason to be concerned as the 6ft 4 hitman will eventually need to go under the scapel, however if this can wait until May as the club hopes, we will have to see, another kick on the ankle could see him out for a lot longer that if he got it looked at straight away, especially if it affects his form, Liam is only on a one-year contract. Echoman Chris Phillips has tweeted: 'Dickinson injury - It's his ankle and he will play through the pain until the end of the season. Then have an operation. Doesn't sound good.' No, it doesn't; let's hope he gets through it OK, just when Blues boss Paul Sturrock is being proved right, his new strikers are starting to click. Big Baz might find it hard to get back!
