Dervite thanks club for France call

The 20-year-old, who is on loan from Tottenham, had played for France at all under-age levels until hitting a wall when trying to break through to the Under-21 side.[LNB]As a result he opted to swap reserve-team football at White Hart Lane for a regular starting spot with Southend and has been rewarded with two Under-21 caps in the last week.[LNB]"It was a very good experience for me and I'm very proud to represent my country," he told his club's official website.[LNB]"I want to thank Southend United, because they have helped me play regular games this season.[LNB]"After my injury last season, I stopped playing for France, but now I am back in the Under-21 squad and I'm very pleased."[LNB][LNB]
