Defender set for Shrimpers return
Sankofa missed the warm-up game against Canvey Island but Tilson is confident that he will be fine for the start of the season.
Tilson said: "You have to be sensible when it concerns your Achilles. You can't take any risks and that is why Osei didn't play at Canvey Island.
"He won't be involved at Chelmsford City on Saturday either but we are confident he will be back training next week."
Meanwhile left-back Guus De Vries will not be offered a permanent deal after completing a trial.
The former BV Veendam and FC Emmen defender played in the Shrimpers' friendlies against Great Wakering Rovers and Witham Town but has been informed he can look for another club.
