Crewe Alexandra v Southend United - MATCH OFF

27 December 2010 10:56
It's even colder up north! The Bank Holiday League Two clash between Railwaymen and Shrimpers on Tuesday, December 28th has been postponed due to a frozen pitch. v Oh dear! There really will be two games a week until May!Following a pitch inspection at 10.30 Monday morning by a local match referee he called off the Bank Holiday fixture due to a frozen pitch at the Alexandra Stadium (Gresty Road to me and you), which has made it unplayable. The outlook is looking better for the New Year games against Oxford away, if you forget the thick fog forecast, and Cheltenham at Roots Hall, if you can remeber where it is.
