Covers on but 'no danger' for Swindon clash, 'at this moment'

A tweet from the club informes us that the covers are on at the home supporters end as a 'precaution', and the overniight forecast is very cold!

Roots Hall in all it's glory, and game on for Swindon visit tomorrow evening; probably!   Remember Scunthorpe on a Tuesday evening back in February 2009, let's hope we don't get a repeat of that farce where the match was called off 20 minutes from kick-off, blimey re-reading the thread I was really pissed off, and indeed pissed after I went back in to the Spread! (The next game was called off as well, Swindon away, and that cost be a train ticket, I love the British weather.)   The freeze is here, snowing in Wales, lucky them, but we should be spared that!   However, the tempatures are going to drop overnight and hit minus 1 in time for kick-off in the vital Swindon clash at Roots Hall: www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2637433   Anyway, the club has tweeted us: 'Frost covers deployed at the south end of Roots Hall as a precaution for tomorrow night http://twitter.com/SUFCRootsHall/status/163954691632406528/photo/1'   Now that got a few fans concerned so was soon followed up with: 'Just to say no danger that the game won't be on at this moment but ground staff are being cautious in their preperations.'   'At this moment', let's hope referee Langford get's back down to Southend earlier than his colleague a couple of years ago!
