Corr ready for start

Striker Barry Corr is confident he will be fit for Southend`s next match against Cheltenham on Tuesday. The 25-year-old Irishman, the Shrimpers leading scorer with eight goals in 20 matches this season, came off the bench on Tuesday night to net the equaliser against Stevenage but has been forced to have a bit-part role in recent matches due to a back injury. Corr told the Southend Echo: "I have been struggling with my back since we played extra-time against Macclesfield, so I think the gaffer has just been looking after me in the last couple of games. "After 75 or 80 minutes in a game my back starts to stiffen up. "It will be fine though because I have a week's rest now and everything should be OK in time for Cheltenham, so I'd definitely like to start that game."
