Carling Cup First Round Draw Date
The draw date for the First Round of the Carling Cup has been announced for the 2010-11 season. Well, it can't be the Borient!The draw will be made on Wednesday June 16th 2010 at 09.30.The First Round draw will include 70 Football League clubs, which will include Portsmouth as the lowest of the three relegated Premiership clubs.The draw will be both seeded and regionalised. Not surprisingly Southend, who were relegated from League One after finishing 23rd, will fall into the unseeded category, and so will face either a Championship side, or a team from the top half of League One.ColU?!!! However, QPR or Palace would be nice, so it will probably be Watford again!(Remember, the League Two fixtures will be released the next day, Thursday June 17th, from around 10.00.)
