Aldershot Town, AFC Wimbledon: Southend United CEO Tara Brady will be meeting Blues boss Paul Sturrock soon enough to see how much money is in the kitty is left for any possible signings in the new year, and what to do about Bilel Mohsni?

Brady: 'Plenty of topics will be spoken about, including Bilel'

Shrimpers chief executive Tara Brady will be talking to club manager Paul Sturrock over the next couple of days when they will decide on the fate of the presently supended Bilel Mohsni and the names on Luggy's list that he hopes can be persuaded to join the club in the new year.

Brady told www.echo-news.co.uk: “I’m due to have a meeting with Paul and plenty of topics will be spoken about, including Bilel. We will also be talking about transfer targets for the January transfer window.”

Mohsni will be available for the League Two clash at AFC Wimbledon on New Year's Eve so it will be interesting to see if he gets the nod.

As for new signings, well, JJ's immenient departure should release some cash, and while some have noted Michael Timlin signing on a full-time contract would possibily take that up, Brady has said earlier that his wages had already been budgeted into the accounts, however whether that included the promise to Swindon to take up the remaining 18 months on his contract, as well as thte five-figure fee, we will only find out come January.
