QPR boss Neil Warnock has revealed that teams from the Championship were keen to take striker Antonio German on loan. The 18-year-old has joined League Two outfit Southend in a bid to get regular first-team football, but Warnock admits the teenager is hot property. He said: "There were a number of clubs interested in Antonio. "A couple from the Championship and one or two from League One too. "But I want him to get some serious game-time under his belt and he'll get that at Southend. "He will play five or six games for them and that will stand him in really good stead."
