Blues send Calver to Braintree
Southend striker Chris Calver has been loaned to Blue Square South team Braintree Town for a month. Calver off to join the Iron19-year-old Chris Calver has already been loaned out to St.Albans this term, but will now stay even closer home as he's off to Braintree Town for an initial month to gain first team experience.Having only warmed the bench this can only help Chris who was given a one-year contract as part of the developmental squad after being part of the Youth Alliance Championship winning under-18 side last season.
