Referee Karl Evans held an inspection at the County Ground on Saturday morning and deemed the playing surface unfit following freezing conditions overnight.[LNB]Around 150 Robins supporters worked tirelessly in a bit to clear snow from the pitch on Friday, but their efforts were ultimately in vain[LNB]Evans told Town's official website: "Unfortunately the overnight frost got under the covers and has frozen the grass and there are parts of the pitch that you just can't run on because there would be no penetration.[LNB]"We have to look at the safety of the players and the officials so we had no option but to call it off."[LNB][LNB]
