Barrett keeps the faith

Skipper Adam Barrett believes Southend can avoid relegation this season despite their current plight. The Shrimpers are currently languishing in the Coca-Cola League One drop zone after winning just once in their last 19 games. But Barrett insists that one win could kick-start United`s bid to stay up. "It's all still to play for down there," he told the Southend Echo. "We're certainly not dead and buried and one win could make a big difference. "We just need it to come soon because that would really boost our chances."
