Barrett down about Shrimpers slump
The Shrimpers suffered a disappointing 1-0 defeat at Exeter on Saturday and ahead of the busy Christmas period, Barrett told the Southend Echo of his frustrations at how things are going.[LNB]"We need to be mentally stronger, more ruthless and be able to break teams down," he said.[LNB]"It's really disappointing because I think their (Exeter's) goal could have been avoided and we also created quite a lot of chances.[LNB]"I thought we dominated the second half at times and to come away losing is again quite hard to take and we're all very down about it."[LNB][LNB]
