Baldwin has spent the last two months at Roots Hall after agreeing a temporary move from Colchester, helping the Shrimpers to their first clean sheet since October in the 0-0 draw with fellow relegation candidates Exeter last Saturday.[LNB]The 27-year-old believes Southend can avoid the drop given they sit just three points off safety and have a game in hand over the Grecians.[LNB]"This is a great club with fantastic supporters and all the lads are doing their best considering the circumstances," he told the club's official website.[LNB]"Between now and the end of the season we are giving it our best shot to stay up.[LNB]"Little things like not letting in goals are bound to give us a boost at the moment so that gives us something to build on heading into Saturday's game."[LNB][LNB]
