If your watching the game on Sky Sports tonight, your be joining loanee centre half Pat Baldwin, as he can't play in tonights big Essex derby clash. Baldwin:Baldwin, 27, has spent more than seven years with Colchester, making 223 appearances but he became surplus to requirements under current U's boss Aidy Boothroyd. Baldwin told : "I would obviously have loved to have played in the game tonight because I've always enjoyed them in the past. But it's part of the loan that I can't and there's nothing I can do about it. I'll just have to sit it out and look forward to all the other games we have coming up." This will be the second time Pat has had to sit out a game against his parent club, as he was loaned out to Bristol Rovers earlier this season and was also forced to sit out their game with ColU. However, this time he will not even be at the ground!Balders continued: "I think it will be a good game and one that's also a bit strange for me. It's the club I'm on loan at against the club I'm on loan from but I will be among those watching on the television for this one."
