Midfielder Andrew Surman was reportedly among the players set to be sacrificed to ease the money worries at St Mary's, but the board would not sell on the cheap.[LNB]Wotte, who was also able to bring in Hungarian defender Zoltan Liptak on deadline day, is now looking forward to a concerted effort to climb away from the relegation places during the run-in.[LNB]"We didn't lose one player in the transfer window and that was a big thing for us because everyone was expecting that to happen," said Wotte.[LNB]"I am happy that the board did not negotiate with the clubs who made low offers for Andrew Surman or other players and I think we have to give credit to the board at the moment.[LNB]"It would have been very easy for them to sell a player because of the finances, but we also brought in Jan-Paul Saeijs who is doing a good job and Zoltan Liptak who has made a good first impression - so let's be positive."[LNB][LNB]
