Wotte may have to sell some Saints

Wotte has revealed only Grzegorz Rasiak and Marek Saganowski have expressed an interest in leaving Saints since their relegation to League One, but he also admits the cash-strapped outfit may have to sell others, which would bring in some much-needed funds. The Saints boss told the club's official website: "When you get relegated from the Championship you must accept that you are going to lose one or two players and I'm not just talking about Grzegorz Rasiak or Marek Saganowski, who have both expressed an interest in leaving the club. They can go, though, because they are too expensive for League One anyway. "Nobody else has come out and said they want to leave, but we must also accept that we have a lot of footballing talents who may influence the financial side of things. One or two may go, and if they do, then you have to try and find replacements for less money." But Wotte is confident the south-coast club will be an attractive proposition to any new signings. "We have Premier League facilities which are very important for players to have," he continued. "They need the right circumstances to play and train in, so there are a lot of plusses for the club apart from the fact it is in League One."
