Wotte: Future is bright for Saints
The takeover by Swiss businessman Markus Liebherr brings to an end months of uncertainty on the South Coast and means Wotte can now begin his preparations for next season in earnest.
"I am delighted and very relieved," said the Dutchman.
"I am very happy for the fans and all the people who have supported Southampton Football Club over the past four or five months. It's the perfect end to this story.
"I am delighted the club has an owner who has such a respectable reputation. Now we have secured our future I am looking forward to steadily building towards a better future on the pitch as well."
