Toon boss denies Lambert link
Lambert has been in scintillating form this season with 21 goals for Alan Pardew's side in all competitions.[LNB]This has resulted in the 27-year-old being linked with a move to the Magpies as Hughton mulls over alternatives should he fail in his attempt to lure Jermaine Beckford from Leeds.[LNB]However, while Hughton revealed his admiration for Lambert, he insists he has no intention of making a move for the player.[LNB]"We aren't looking to bring Rickie here. He is a very good player and one who is doing well this season, like he did last season, but he is not one we are looking at," Hughton told the Chronicle.[LNB][LNB]
