Surman calling for home comforts

Saints had won just once at home this season until Preston arrived on the south coast last weekend, and they followed up that victory with a 1-0 success over Cardiff on Saturday. "We'd been talking about back-to-back wins all week because it's a great starting point for us to go on a run," said Surman. "We want to try to make this place a fortress because that's how it should be anyway. You need to do it in your home games and we need to win as many of them as we can and make sure teams find it difficult when they come here. "We're organised at the moment and we play with a purpose while we know our quality takes care of itself. As long as everyone keeps working hard then we will continue to do okay."
