Southampton hardly broke sweat as they swept aside a well below-par Tranmere, who registered a solitary shot on goal.Rickie Lambert netted his fifth goal of the season when he nodded in Danny Butterfield's cross from six yards. The excellent Guly Do Prado did all the hard work to leave Adam Lallana with a simple left-footed finish for 2-0.
