Saints to upgrade training ground

Southampton have unveiled plans to upgrade their training ground at Marchwood to Premier League standard.Executive chairman Nicola Cortese told BBC Radio Solent that the planned revamp is being personally funded by owner Markus Liebherr. "The work doesn't impact financially on the club. We do this with our own funds, there's no bank involved and the club remains debt-free," he said.
