Saints defender suffers injury blow

The 35-year-old right-back has only recently returned to full fitness after suffering knee ligament damage back in August. Murty has played the last five matches as Saints have continued their rise up the League One table, but is now set to miss the festive schedule. Midfielder Lloyd James is likely to revert to full-back once again, although centre-half Wayne Thomas could also deputise.
