Saints try to focus on football

Southampton manager Alan Pardew has called for his side to put the sadness of the past few days behind them and get back to business against Leyton Orient. Saints have been a club in mourning following last week's sudden death of owner Markus Liebherr at the age of 62. A memorial service for the Swiss billionaire was held on Wednesday, and now Pardew is looking forward to getting back to the football at St Mary's on Saturday. "I hope the atmosphere will be like a celebration," said Pardew. "I think the mourning for Markus is over now and really we should be celebrating what he's done for the club and him as a person. "He was a joyful, happy man and I hope the stadium is like that on Saturday. I don't want to see too many sad faces, let's get on with business. We are a great club with great supporters and we are happy when we are winning."
