Royals sign Rasiak and McAnuff

Rodgers missed out on his number one target Tommy Smith after the Watford forward joined Portsmouth on Thursday morning but has moved for two players he worked with during his time at Vicarage Road. McAnuff enjoyed his best spell for the Hornets under Rodgers while Rasiak hit 10 goals while on loan at Vicarage Road last season. Both players have arrived for undisclosed fees. Director of football Nick Hammond said: "Grzegorz did very well for Brendan last year, he has a proven goal record and gives us the sort of attacking option that we haven't had for some time. "Jobi is an old-fashioned winger. He is a creative force, he has good pace and is very diligent even without the ball at his feet."
