Lee Holmes is a product of the Derby youth ranks and he made his debut as a 15 year old on Boxing Day 2002 - making him Derbys youngest ever player. 2 weeks later he became the youngest player ever to play in the FA Cup as he came on as a subsitute against Brentford. The following season Holmes made 23 appearances but the next season wasnt as good as he made only 4 appearances. Holmes went on loan at Swindon and had a successful time, getting into the England under 19 team for the European Championships. He has had a better time in 2006 so far and has been playing far more regularly.
